Description
Landcruiser Dash Console
Overview:
The Cruiser Dash Console runs the width of the dashboard, turning otherwise unused space into a row of usable compartments for the odds and ends that normally end up loose on the seat or in the door pocket. Beyond the added storage, the console’s profile is designed to reduce the glare and reflection thrown up off the bonnet into the windscreen — a common complaint in the 70 Series cab, particularly in bright, high-UV Southern African conditions.
Importantly, the console is manufactured to work with the vehicle’s factory air vents rather than around them: it doesn’t block the vents, and it’s shaped to redirect airflow from them so the windscreen still gets sufficient defogging in wet or cold conditions.
It’s built for the Single Cab, Double Cab and Station Wagon, fitting Land Cruisers with the later, rounded dash vent design — not the earlier square-vent dashboards.
